Fortunately Poem

Fortunately today is my birth day and I got a lot of presents
Unfortunately today is the first day of school and I have to do a lot of work
Fortunately I got to leave early from school to go on a trip to another country
Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs so the flight was canceled
Fortunately it stopped in just a few minutes
Unfortunately it took fourteen hours to get to England
Fortunately it was a non-stop flight so we got there really quick
Unfortunately it was raining when we got there and the puddles were almost a foot deep
Fortunately we had a great big umbrella as big as the world
Unfortunately it had holes in it and we all got super, super wet
Fortunately the door to the airport was right in front of us
Unfortunately it was closed
Fortunately there was a shuttle right next to us
Unfortunately it didn’t have a top so we all got really wet
Fortunately it could go super fast and we got there in no time
Unfortunately it started raining a lot harder
Fortunately we rented a really cool car that could go as fast a Lamborghini
Unfortunately we didn’t have a place to stay
Fortunately we rented a hotel in the really big city
Unfortunately the power was out in our room and couldn’t
Fortunately the lights turned on and all of our friends and family were there
