Bridgett S.

Bridgett S.

Fortunately poem

Fortunately I am at Washington D.C on Spring break
Unfortunately we haven’t rented a car yet so we take a cab
Fortunately we took a cab to the place that rent a car
Unfortunately the car had cobwebs as big as nets in it
Fortunately the people cleaned the car
Unfortunately they got every cobweb except for one
Fortunately my dad dusted it away and I could sit down
Unfortunately we had the window open and a cat jumped in
Fortunately there was a parking spot near by so we parked and ran out
Unfortunately we locked the door shut and left the car keys in the car
Fortunately we had a spare pare and got in
Unfortunately the cat was still in
Fortunately he jumped out and we closed the window
Unfortunately it started raining and we didn’t have umbrellas
Fortunately we found some in the car and got out
Unfortunately there was a bunch of puddles
Fortunately we got home faster than we thought
Unfortunately our shoes were sobbing wet
Fortunately we got in our P.J. snuggled up in bed .

Hey Bridgett, I loved your poem. I hope when the cat jumped through the window it landed on your sisters hair.
