Fortunately Poem
Fortunately today is Spring Break and I can go swimming in a refreshing pool
Unfortunately the pool is closed so I can not go swimming on the hot, hot day
Fortunately my mom said she would take me to the fantastic water park
Unfortunately some of the rides were not working so it wasn’t very fun
Fortunately my mom said I could get a nice tasty cotton candy
Unfortunately the line was as long as a giraffe’s neck so I couldn’t get it
Fortunately my mom said we could go home and check if the refreshing pool was open
Unfortunately there was traffic so it took a very, very long time
Fortunately when we got home we could go in the refreshing pool
